Fresh from her sold-out shows in Las
Vegas, Britney Spears will return to the U.S. and Canada for an
extension of her popular "Circus" tour, repeating some locations
including Las Vegas. Spears will perform at 8 p.m. on Sept. 26 and 27 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. She last appeared in April at the MGM Grand (which also owns Mandalay). Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster with all its service charges and any of the Mandalay Bay box offices. Ticket prices have not yet been announcedl.
On Sunday night at her Circus show in Tampa, Fla., Britney Spears was heard on a live mic saying, "My pussy was hanging out." This came after Spears was lowered down in a metallic-looking gold costume after the song "I'm a Slave 4 U." Perez Hilton, who kicked off her tour March 3 in New York with a video of him welcoming the star on her comeback, of course has photos. The Circus tour continues nationally. Demand for tickets to see Britney Spears both here in America and in Europe has been so high, she has already added six new concert dates for a present total of 41 shows. When tickets first went on sale, more than 400,000 were snapped up almost immediately.
Additionally, six additional shows were just added to her London 02 Arena stop, where in just 48 hours, some 100,000 tickets were sold for her now eight performances there. The Circus -- Starring Britney Spears is her first arena tour in five years and will feature the Pussycat Dolls.
“Britney and I are both thrilled to see how excited her fans are for the Circus tour,” said her manager, Larry Rudolph. “This show will blow people’s minds and promises to show Britney’s fans something they will never forget!”
Britney’s set to perform here in Las Vegas on April 25.
Britney Spears fanatic Chris Crocker is singing Brit's "Gimme More" tonight on a stage outside Piranha nightclub.
Chris Crocker, whose sobbing, melodramatic plea to "leave Britney alone" was a YouTube sensation, is the featured performer for the club's National Coming Out Day celebration. Crocker, 19, is performing at 8 p.m.
His defense of Britney came after her widely-derided comeback performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last month at the Palms.
A club spokesman said Paris Hilton has indicated she will drop by later in the evening.

Viewers weren't the only ones that were disappointed by Britney Spears' big comeback performance at last night's MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.
Following a dismal performance of Spears' new single, "Gimme More," a source tells Us that Spears was spotted "crying badly [backstage]. She's devastated. She was really nervous and knows she screwed up."

The magic was missing on what was to be the night Britney Spears put all the drama behind her. Her comeback party was crashed by Chris Brown's table-hopping performance and Rihanna's sensuality that put a charge of electricity in the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday at the Palms.
While Spears fizzled with a so-so show that was missing the much-hyped magical assistance of illusionist Criss Angel, Brown and Rihanna sizzled.
Also likely to be remembered as a VMA moment was Kanye West's performance from a platform on an infinity pool in Hugh Hefner's Sky Villa, with a helicopter-borne camera shooting the scene live.
